Name, Age and Occupation, family? 2. When did you start with VUKA, and why VUKA? 3. You work-out to/for what? 4. Have you reached those goals? 5. Your greatest personal fitness achievement? 6. Words of wisdom/motivation: This month we’re most proud of: Sharon Reynolds
Lets start by saying Sharon is all of 54 years young. And would you believe it that if we told you that over the past two years she has become near to the fittest boot camper in the Wild West! Our dear shaz could not to a single sit-up to start.. And today she is a prime and beautiful example of how far consistency and a little bit of determination can take you. We are so proud of you Sharon, and would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support, smiling attitude and all that you have given of yourself to VUKA and our boot campers. On behalf of the VUKA Family, we wish you the best and happiest time of your life when you relocate to PE, we will seriously miss you. Here’s a little about Sharon and what makes her tick…. 1. Name, Age and Occupation, family? Sharon Reynolds, age 53, married for 30 years with 3 children. I am currently unemplyed having just sold my florist. 2. When did you start with VUKA, and why VUKA? I started with Vuka almost 2 years ago I think it was, just before going overseas on holiday. I just felt that I need to get into shape again and regain some strength in my body. I also had a lot f arthritis in my hands, fingers and wrists and bootcamp has relieved me of all of that! 3. You work-out to/for what? It has become such an addiction that I really feel out of sorts when I miss bootcamp. I feel healthier, stronger and have a lot more energy. 4. Have you reached those goals? Most definitely. My goals were to initially just make it through a class doing everything and not embarassing myself in the process!! I had NO core strength but persevered and today I can do all those situps on my own. 5. Your greatest personal fitness achievement? Most definitely just getting fit again and making time to get fit. Putting yourself first for that small period a day. Its not only about the weight but also about how you feel about yourself. Everytime you achieve more you feel great and are ampted to do more. 6.Words of wisdom/motivation: Age is literally just a number. You can achieve anything in life if you really want to and most of all if you have the right people supporting you. Not a single bootcamp session has gone by with me not being surrounded by the best motivators there are. Nobody wants to be put down and feel they are useless and everyone at VUKA has only had words of encouragement, motivation and mostly its been such a lot of fun. Thank you all so much for all your help! |
